Architecture is a foundational art form in our cultural history. It did not arise overnight and has conditions that we cannot simply wipe away. Location is an important influence, but so is the imperceptible appropriation of formal languages that are socially relevant and wonderfully timely. We see the form of mobility, cars and aeroplanes before us and sometimes do not even notice how they are subject to change. The architecture and forms of industrial design influence our perception in such a way that we see them as a given, more archaic and less dependent on fashion and trends.
